6 week programme

Power of poles
we will teach you how to be using poles correctly and what a difference they can make to a walk
You will find out how to use fitness walking poles to achieve the results you want. 
walking well
simply ways to improve posture and walking gait to help you get more out of every walk  
 
Walking for exercise – simple drills to help you get more out of every step    
  Mindful walking –
 Learn how to connect with nature and clear your mind with our simple breathing and mindful practices. Skills that you can take on any walk with you in order to refresh and unwind  
yoga walx 
Our unique mix of Yoga and walking will leave you feeling flexible, relaxed and revitalised. There is no better way to enjoy being active in nature than to enjoy an Asana in the elements having walked to best tranquil locations.

The Course is a weekly walk at one of the fantastic local National Trust Venues. 

throughout your 6 weeks, you can enjoy unlimited walx with WALX Dorset (over 40 walx per week)

Ringstead Bay
Ringstead Bay is a wild unspoilt beach with views to Weymouth and Portland, it features a famous smugglers path mentioned in the novel Moonfleet and a tiny tranquil chapel nestled in woodland.
With wide open cliff tops and a mix of terrain it’s the perfect place to work both mind and body!

hardy's Monument
Hardy’s monument was built to commemorate the life of Vice Admiral sir Thomas   Masterman Hardy who captained Nelson’s flagship. It is said to look  like  an upended telescope and it sits on top of a hill which provides   unrivalled views over East Dorset. It’s a wild, atmospheric and  stunning  location.
